5 days

This is our most popular itinerary, perhaps as it provides time enough to cover many different parts of the archipelgo and experience a wide variety of nature.

We also have the possibility of going that little bit further into the more distant and secluded islands and of exploring more closely the inner and middle parts of the archipelago and even delving a little deeper into the fascinating history of this region.

There is also time enough for practical sailing training. Steering, navigating and trimming the sails are exciting tasks to be performed.
It is lots of fun!

As you see from the route map we pass through the inner archipelago and spend our first night near the island of Hjälmö where there still is active farming.

Furthermore during this itinerary you experience the famous island of Rödlöga, in the northern archipelago. Here the last fisherman died in the 70’s, but just imagine that only about 80 years ago there were still lots of small farms and a school on the island.

We virtually follow the string of outer islands during the following days and experience the two pulsating sailing centres of Sandhamn and Utö.

On our last leg we sail north west from Utö past the famous Spa resort and old military defense point of Dalarö on our way back to Saltsjöbaden where we conclude this tour towards late afternoon.

Optional visits to several interesting cultural places during this itinerary. For instance; an ancient coppermine, windmill, museums etc..
