2 days

After a short safety breifing we hoist the sales and start from our base in Saltsjöbaden, just 20 minutes by car or local train from Stockholm.

Initially we sail through the inner archipelago and enjoy lunch on board as we cruise through the sometimes tightly clustered islands and narrow sounds.

As we continue through the middle archipelago you will find that nature gets increasingly wild. Here and there small fishing huts are tucked away between rocks. Smooth polished cliffs remind us of the ice age millions of years ago.

In the late afternoon we reach the island of Sandhamn, one of the most well known bases for sea pilots in the last century. Now a well know sailing centre and the base of the Royal Swedish Yacht Club.

As the crew completes the mooring, we enjoy a glass of wine served on deck in the warm afternoon sun, before going ashore.

You will find a rather unexpected array of optional restaurants for your choice of dining venue; The Sandhamn Hotel, The Inn or the Diver’s Bar.

Tuck in for the night on board, in 4 double cabins en suite.

Next morning, after breakfast on board, a fantastic sailing and nature experience is waiting for you.

We sail through the spectacular outer archipelago where you might encounter seal or the white-tailed eagle. On our way through this astonishing archipelagic area we choose a nice secluded bay for our lunch break.

After lunch we hoist the sails for the last time and sail back towards Saltsjöbaden, where we expect to moor at about 5 pm.
