1 day

We start early in the morning, at our base at Saltsjöbaden, with a short safety briefing before we hoist the sales and set off.

We head southeast through Baggensfjärden and Ingaröfjärden, towards Nämndöfjärden while the crew serves you coffee, tea and freshly baked cake.

The beautiful Nämdöfjärden opens up towards the north cape of Nämdö where we round up at lunchtime.

Taking into consideration our prevailing winds we will select a suitable sheltered bay to anchor for lunch. We moor the archipelagic way, bow to shore and anchor astern.

After lunch there will be some time for relaxation and perhaps a walk along the shore while enjoying the lovely view of the distant islands of the outer archipelago.

Nämdö island is mentioned already in saliling narratives from 1240, as the beacon on the highest point of the island was an important link in the oldest coastal signalling system described in Sweden.

As we set off on our afternoon sailing we follow the east coast of Nämdö southward, enjoying both the picturesque views of the island as well as the vast stretches of open water on our port side. South of Nämdö we set a westerly course back to Saltsjöbaden, where we expect to moor around 5.30 pm.
